Fund Description

The Vanguard PRIMECAP Core Fund Investor Shares (VPCCX) is an actively managed fund that seeks to aggressively grow investor capital over the long term. The fund accomplishes this by investing across all market capitalizations and investing styles. Managers are free to invest in any sector or stock as they see fit. VPCCX chooses it holdings based on fundamental criteria and looks to own companies with long-term potential overlooked by the market.

Given its riskier nature, VPCCX is best suited for investors as a satellite position. Expenses for the fund are relatively low-cost, and it is internally managed by PRIMECAP Management Company.
