Staying on top of mutual fund news is important for investors. Below, we look at the most important mutual fund news from the past week.

Oil Prices and Mutual Funds

In a recent article published by FA Magazine, funds from oil importers and exporters were compared. The article noted that funds that focused on India (which is a big importer of oil) were among the best performers in 2014. On the flipside, Russia funds were at the bottom of the list. Investors Flocked to Passive Funds in 2014

According to an article published by ThinkAdvisor, investors flocked to passive funds in 2014. Passive funds saw $166 billion in inflows, while active funds lost $82 billion. For more information, read the full article.


3 Mid-Cap Growth Mutual Funds

Zacks Investment Research recently published an article commenting on three mid-cap growth mutual funds for investors to consider. The report included the following funds.
